Rita Shimelfarb, owner of Glass Can Dance studio, has been inspiring fellow glass artists and customers alike, with extraordinary pieces for more than twenty years. Rita’s talents as an innovative glass artist have graced the cover of our catalog and her most recent work will debut this January at the Ronald McDonald House near Central Du Page Hospital in Illinois.
Rita’s unique skills combine the rich history of stained glass with the beauty of fused glass, painted glass, dichoric glass, and reclaimed pieces. Her work is truly one of a kind. As the largest wholesale art glass distributor in North America, we were stunned by Rita’s work after she entered one of our Featured Artist contests on Facebook.
