Featured Glass Artist: Nathan Sandberg

Renowned glass artist and educator Nathan Sandberg has made a name for himself as one of the top kilnformed glass educators teaching today. When he’s not in his studio, he can be found presenting fresh, innovative curriculum at a wide range of studios, schools and art centers around the United States, as well as internationally.

We met Nathan when he came to our classroom a few years ago. He shares his extensive kilnforming knowledge freely and in great detail and is a student favorite.

“My numerous visits to Ed Hoy have always been enjoyable. As a visiting instructor, I have always felt welcome and comfortable in their classroom. The staff is very accommodating and the shear amount of “glass goods” they sell is staggering. A few years ago I procured new a pair of tile nippers that I would never have known existed had I not visited Naperville. If you need it, there is a good chance they have it somewhere in their cavernous warehouse.”
